My name is Dana and I am the owner and creator of Mystic Charms - Candles & Home Fragrance.
As the creator of Mystic Charms and a neurodivergent individual, I have always been highly artistic, loved sights and scents that aren't overpowering to the senses, and have always had a strong drive to create. Mixing these interests together has become my passion.
Many candle companies focus on creating candles with the most throw – the power to scent an entire room. However, I wanted to create something different, something a little less pungent yet still gorgeous. I find that subtler fragrances can cause a person to pause when they walk into a room and sniff the air in appreciation.
Crafting candles and home fragrances is a creative and meditative practice for me that allows me to use all of the skills I have as an artist - yet also engages my brain in the more linear, scientific aspects.
I love the process of mixing scents, choosing colors, and designing a beautiful candle that not only looks stunning but also brings joy to the person who uses it - plus the surprise additions are always a bonus!

Waning Crescent Moon:
The time to rest & recover energy for the month ahead. It's a time for self-care & to reconnect with yourself & your energy, for life & light & magic.
The Moon Cutouts within the Waning Crescent:
The 5 cutouts signify all of the moon phases of our planet's singular moon. These each have a special guidance/meaning to them throughout the monthly cycle, & with each phase, something new can be learned.
The Cat on the Moon:
Often depicted as the familiars (magical guides and helpers) of witches & magic-users, cats are beautiful beings full of curiosity, independence, playfulness, wisdom, mystery & of course, magic. This logo leans towards all of these , plus they are our favorite animal!
The Little Wing on the Cat:
