In Rune Reading, the runes are separated into 3 sets of eight runes based off the energies that connect Earth and Heaven, and are represented by three gods: Tyr, Heimdall, and Freya. These gods have some fascinating stories that weave in and out of the more well-known stories of Norse gods such as Odin, Thor and Loki. Tyr is the Warrior, Heimdall is the Watcher and Freya is the Goddess.

This goddess would often go to battlefields and gather the bravest souls of the fallen in order to guide them to heaven where she would care for them and their loved ones for eternity. Her Aett represent love and relationships both platonic and amorous.
