Aett: Heimdall
Meaning: “Harvest” or “Year”
Cycles, Harvest, Completion, Rewards, Abundance, Extensions.

Jera represents time and the cycle of the year from Winter to Spring to Summer to Fall and back to Winter again.
This rune is a wonderful sign that your hard work – with all of your perseverance, diligence and maybe even lack of sleep – is going to pay off for you. However; with that being said it is time to slow down and look back at what you’ve managed to do…and give yourself a pat on the back! Well done!
Celebrate how far you’ve come, feel gratitude for the work that is finished and the results that you have in hand and those who’ve helped you along the way.
Feel that gratitude and share it with others.
The Elder Futhark Runes are some of the oldest known alphabets clearly documented and currently known to mankind. They were often carved into wood and stone and were used to commemorate ancestors and mark the graves of heroes, but they were also used to communicate. Runes could be cast and translated to figure out the current situation at present or could be used to peek into the future much like Tarot. They could be used to communicate with the natural and supernatural worlds and can even be used as symbols of protection, success, and more.
The Elder Futhark has 24 runes, and are the ones used with these beautiful charms you can collect with our RuneFizzies Bathbombs.
In Rune Reading, the runes are separated into 3 sets of eight runes based off the energies that connect Earth and Heaven, and are represented by three gods: Tyr, Heimdall, and Freya. These gods have some fascinating stories that weave in and out of the more well-known stories of Norse gods such as Odin, Thor and Loki. Tyr is the Warrior, Heimdall is the Watcher and Freya is the Goddess.
Tyr’s Aett – is all about the physical and is known for his fierceness and physical strengths and so Tyr’s eight runes represent various forms of Confidence.
Heimdall’s Aett – represents Clarity. They are no less powerful than Tyr’s Aett, and are often found when looking outwards in the distance both physically and metaphysically. These are rune often found when looking for the future or for clarity in a situation.
Freya’s Aett – Women especially looked to Freya for assistance in matters of fertility and heart as well as one associated with death. This goddess would often go to battlefields and gather the bravest souls of the fallen in order to guide them to heaven where she would care for them and their loved ones for eternity. Her Aett represent love and relationships both platonic and amorous.
Our RuneFizzies Bathbombs are designed to bring a bit of fun to the bath experience, and depending on how you look at the explanation of the rune you receive, you may find some interesting information that correlates to your own life, so feel free to relax and enjoy!
